When your differential pressure won’t come back down after a pulse cycle, you need a replacement filter that fits, holds lower pressure drop, and stretches your changeout interval — without paying the factory markup. Whatever you run, your filter has a match here: every major brand, from Donaldson Torit, Camfil, and Dust Hog to Sly, Camcorp, PAMIC, AAF, Nordson, and DCE, plus dozens more. Some are OEM; most are premium aftermarket equivalents that outlast your originals and pulse cleaner at lower sustained pressure drop.

Here’s how it works on the floor: you send your collector make, model, and the part number off your current filter — or a photo of the nameplate — and you get back the exact dimensional match in the right media for your dust, quoted within one business day and priced to beat any OEM invoice. The quote is built to hand straight to purchasing — a clean line-item your PO person can cut against, freight included where it applies. Whether you’re matching replacement filters for a CNC dust collector, a welding fume collector, or a plant-wide baghouse, that’s the whole job: the right filter, the right media, a quote that turns into a PO, on time.

Already running a system we maintain? Your filter specs and sizes stay on file, so a reorder is a phone call — and you can set standing replacements timed to your PM schedule so you’re never scrambling when pressure drop spikes. Submit a maintenance request or call to reorder.

Filter Media Guide

Choosing the Right Dust Collector Filter Media

Your media type is what decides your changeout interval and how low your pressure drop sits between cleans — which is to say, how often you're up on the ladder pulling filters. Here's how to pick the media that buys you the longest run.

Most Common

Cellulose / Polyester Blend

The standard for most cartridges and bags, and what most OEM filters ship with. Fine for dry, non-hygroscopic dust at moderate temps, lowest up-front cost — but it loads into the media and drives shorter changeout intervals. If you're pulling filters more often than you'd like, this is usually why.

Nanofiber Media

An ultra-fine surface layer captures fines before they load into the base media, so the cartridge pulses cleaner and holds lower differential pressure between cycles. That's longer changeout intervals and less fan energy than standard cellulose — the upgrade that pays for itself first under heavy dust loads.

PTFE Membrane (ePTFE)

A microporous expanded PTFE laminate over the base media — the most release-friendly surface there is. If your filters blind, cake, or won't pulse clean (hygroscopic dust, fine chemical powders, sticky fines), this is the media that stops the early changeouts and holds the lowest sustained pressure drop.

Nomex (Aramid)

High-temperature baghouse media rated to 400°F continuous. Required for hot-gas applications — kilns, dryers, process exhausts — where standard polyester fails. Woven and needled-felt constructions.

Flame-Retardant Media

Required under NFPA 660 for combustible dust. FR-treated spunbond or inherently FR synthetic fiber, specified for wood dust, grain dust, and other combustible particulate.

Anti-Static Media

Conductive fiber or carbon-thread construction that dissipates static charge on the filter surface. Required for combustible metal dust and explosive atmospheres where static discharge is an ignition risk under NFPA 660.

Better Media

Your nanofiber and PTFE options last longer and hold lower pressure drop than standard OEM media.

Exact Fit

Your make, model, and part number get cross-referenced. If your filter doesn't fit, you get a replacement — no charge.

Quick Ship

5,000+ SKUs in stock, so most orders ship fast — you're not waiting weeks on factory lead times.

Every week you run a blinded or wrong-spec filter, you're paying for it in fan energy, lost capture, and changeouts you didn't need — and the right media for your dust keeps emissions inside the limits OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1000 sets for your floor. Matching the filter to the dust is the cheapest reliability move you've got. Upgrading the whole system? See our 2026 cost guide, or the maintenance guide for what to inspect beyond filters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Replacement Filter Questions

Can I use non-OEM replacement filters in my dust collector?

Yes. OEM-compatible replacement filters are cross-referenced to fit your exact collector make and model. Premium aftermarket filters using nanofiber or PTFE membrane media often outperform factory originals — longer life, lower pressure drop, higher efficiency — at 10–25% lower cost. You're not locked into your collector's OEM for filters.

How do I know which replacement filter fits my dust collector?

Give us your collector make, model, and the part number off your current filter — or send a photo of the filter or its nameplate. Your filter gets cross-referenced against 5,000+ SKUs for the exact dimensional match in the best media for your dust. If it doesn't fit, you get a replacement at no charge. Send your filter details here.

Do you cross-reference my brand — Dust Hog, Donaldson, Camfil, Sly?

Yes — your brand cross-references to compatible replacement filters across Donaldson Torit, Camfil (HemiPleat), Dust Hog, Sly, Camcorp, PAMIC, Imperial Systems, AAF, Nordson, DCE, ACT, and dozens more. If your brand isn't listed, send the part number off your current filter and you'll get a match. Brand names identify the equipment these filters fit; we're an independent OEM and aftermarket filter supplier.

How often should dust collector filters be replaced?

Go by your magnehelic, not the calendar. Cartridges typically run 1–3 years and baghouse bags 2–5 under normal loads, but the real signal is differential pressure: when it stays high after a full pulse cycle and won't recover, the media is loaded and it's time. Running past that point costs you fan energy and capture — and on combustible dust it can put you outside NFPA 660. Keep a spare set on the shelf so a changeout never waits on shipping.

What's the difference between standard and nanofiber cartridges?

Standard cellulose-polyester media relies on depth loading — dust penetrates into the fibers. Nanofiber media adds an ultra-fine surface layer that captures dust before it penetrates, giving easier pulse cleaning, lower operating pressure drop, longer life, and higher efficiency. PTFE membrane delivers similar surface-loading benefits plus chemical resistance.

Do I need flame-retardant filters for combustible dust?

Yes. NFPA 660 requires flame-resistant media in collectors handling combustible dust — FR-treated spunbond polyester or inherently FR synthetic fiber, specified for wood dust, grain dust, and other combustible particulate. Standard cellulose media in a combustible dust application is a compliance violation. Tell us your dust type and you'll get the correct media spec confirmed.

Can I buy replacement dust collector filters online?

Right now, the fastest path is to send your make, model, and part number through our cross-reference quote form — you'll have pricing within one business day, freight included where applicable. We're rolling out direct online ordering on common SKUs; in the meantime a quick cross-reference makes sure you get the exact right filter the first time.

How much do replacement dust collector filters cost?

Filter cost depends on size, media type, and quantity — a standard cartridge runs far less than a PTFE-membrane or FR cartridge, and bulk orders bring the unit price down. Whatever the spec, you beat the OEM invoice on equivalent or better media. Send your part number for exact pricing, or see the full system breakdown in our 2026 cost guide.
