Aerosolized oil and coolant coat standard media and don’t drain off, so the filter saturates and pressure drop climbs within weeks. A coalescing filter is built to merge those fine droplets and drain them away, which keeps the element working and the oil out of your recirculated air.
Which filter removes VOCs and odors?
Activated carbon. Particulate filters capture solids but pass vapor straight through; carbon adsorbs VOCs, odors, and hydrogen sulfide. The carbon type and bed depth are matched to your specific compounds and concentration.
What compressed-air filtration do I need?
