What you get for that is a self supported synthetic pleat with no metal grid, so there is nothing to rust into the frame and nothing to catch when a tech pulls one out at an angle. The frame is moisture resistant beverage board, which matters on any rack sitting above a coil that sweats.
At 4 inch this is the most media in the line, so it breathes easier than a thinner filter at the same rating and goes longer between changes. The work it does is upstream of air quality: it keeps fine dust off the coil, and a loaded coil narrows your split and keeps the compressor running longer than it needs to.
Every case ships the same part number, so what goes in the building in March matches what goes in it in September. We stock this line as a Parker dealer and order against their distribution network.

When this is the wrong call
This is a 4 inch filter. If your rack is cut for 1 or 2 inch it will not fit, and stacking thinner filters to make up the depth is not a substitute.
Confirm the slot depth before you order. A 4 inch carries the most media in the line and breathes easier than a thinner filter at the same rating, but only if it physically goes in.
