Oil mist coming off a machining center coats everything within twenty feet of it, and eventually that includes the floor people walk on. The MSH mounts right on the machine and takes the mist at the source.

Who this is not for
- Explosive emissions or an explosive atmosphere. Parker’s MSH owner’s manual says do not use it in explosive atmospheres and do not collect emissions that are explosive.
- No solid, flat place to mount it. The manual says the MSH is designed for machine mounting, on a flat surface such as a machine tool cabinet top or an angle iron support base, and the structure has to safely carry the unit’s full weight.
- A unit nobody will clean. The manual has the cells and filters washed in hot water and detergent as part of normal maintenance. If no one on your crew will own that routine, this is not the right unit.
