Description
Your shop air does not clear itself. Smoke and dust rise, spread across the ceiling, and settle back down on everybody working under it, which is why the haze looks worse at 3pm than it did at 7am. An ambient air cleaner breaks that cycle by pulling room air through filter media and putting it back, over and over, all shift.
The M-11 is the small one. It hangs in a one man weld bay, a school shop, a pottery studio, a cabinet shop back room, anywhere the space is too small to justify a 3,000 CFM cabinet but the haze still hangs in the air at the end of the day.
This unit moves 675 CFM. Air King builds it in Cedar Falls, Iowa, out of 16 gauge cold rolled steel with a chemical resistant powder coat, and it arrives on a variable speed switch and a 10 foot cord, so you hang it, plug it into a standard outlet, and turn it on.
We sell the full Air King ambient line, shipped to order nationwide. Shop operators put these over woodworking dust, grinding dust, clay and silica dust, and smoke in smaller rooms.

Who this is not for
- Air that has to leave the building. Air King says its units pull contaminated air through the filters and recirculate it back into your work area, without ductwork. If your process or permit requires exhausting outside, this is not that unit.
- Dust that is more than a nuisance. Air King describes these air cleaners as a tool for capturing most airborne nuisance particulate. If your dust is combustible, or you have air sampling showing people over a limit, call us before you order.
- No standard outlet nearby. Air King lists the M-11 series with a 1/4 HP, 115 volt, single phase, 3.8 amp motor on a 10 ft power cord.
