What TRIC-corridor plants need to get right

You are on the leading edge of a manufacturing sector that most collector vendors have never sized for. Battery and electrode dust is not standard dry dust. Lithium and many of the metal powders moving through the EV supply chain are reactive — and under NFPA 660, reactive-metal dust points toward wet collection, grounded in the standard’s stated preference, not a dry cartridge unit dropped in off a catalog. Every one of these needs a real dust hazard analysis on the actual material, not a screening value. We size these as combustible-metal systems from the start.

The second Reno factor is building at speed. Plants across TRIC, Fernley, and Sparks are permitting dust collection from the ground up, often on aggressive schedules, and Washoe County runs its own air-quality authority with its own paperwork. We handle the Washoe County permitting and emission calculations as part of every engineered system, so the collector and the permit land together instead of holding up your certificate of occupancy.
